Asset Overview
The outcropping rock belongs to the Flysch Gault series of the Rhenodanubian Flyschzone. It is showing an alternating sequence of hard and soft banks. The hard banks are grey glauconitic carbonate-bearing quartzarenites while the soft banks are black and green hemipelagic claystones.
A Holocene calcareous tufa deposit is covering the center of the outcrop.
