The Bounty Pontoon Wreck (September 2021)

Here's the wreck of Bounty Pontoon, in the bay of Nusa Lembongan, Bali, Indonesia. It sank just after the first lockdown in 2020, when they didn't bother boarding the pontoon to pump out the hulls. The hull to the south had a leak and filled up over a few weeks. Eventually it sank down onto the shallow reef 8m below... The waves and current quickly fully sank it, leaving just the plastic covered roof sticking above the surface. Most of the equipment, generators, etc was still onboard, so a lot of stuff has been washed away by the currents. The wreck you see here is after the salvage team have removed most of the roof and superstructure. We're not sure what will be left of it after the salvage job finishes. See my other model of the scan from December 2020, it's mostly intact, with only the roof being shredded by the waves... But, the vis was shocking that day, so the scan doesn't the shallower framework at all well.
