North of Tomales Bay these weather rocks look like they have emerged from the sea that is a mile or two away. These are in a large grassy area with a long view to the sea. It is a natural shelter in many places but shows no obvious signs of human use or petroglyphs. People park here to watch the sunset and throw oyster shells over the cliff (but almost curiously) no glass - maybe people care about these places more than they one did.
