Asset Overview
On the Calvary in Retz there are six sandstone groups from the 1st half of the 18th century. This 3D model shows the "Mount of Olives". An angel hands the chalice to the kneeling Jesus.
In Christian symbolism, the Mount of Olives refers to a scene in which Jesus, usually kneeling on a small elevation, is handed the cup of suffering by an angel.
