Cloontuskert is an early ecclesiastical site, traditionally founded by St Faithlec, the site has a large number of cross-slabs and inscribed stones from various periods located around the graveyard. - This fragment has a carved edge and a small simple cross at it's center. Without the other end of the stone it is difficult to say if this was a gravemaker or graffiti
