This striking terrestrial bird is a member of the family Furnariidae, which is host to Ovenbirds and Woodcreepers. Appearing more like a lark than a woodcreeper, the Lark-like Bushrunner is the only member of its genus. It is adorned with a tall pointed crest, long legs, and a beautiful streaked plumage.
