Asset Overview
The Fuso class of battleships was a class of dreadnought type battleships which were built and saw service in both world wars, although they didnt participate in any battles in the first war. Fuso and Yamashiro were both extensively changed in the second world war, the superstructre resembling a childs stacking game rather than a warship. Both ships got sunk in the battle of the Surigao Strait in 1944 by torpedoes, aircraft and battleships as well as cruisers and destroyers.
This model was made by me with the help of the original recognition manual from the US Navy and features only the most important pieces of detail. I made this model for myself to produce a small fleet, and printed this model with my Resin Printer Elegoo Mars in 1/4000 and even 1/8000 scale with nearly no loss of detail. This is by no means a good model, but it is the first one which I made with only the help of two images. Bear in mind that the superstructure takes ages to print, so dont scale the model up too much.
